News related to NCC News The Army has been organizing open house regularly since the 1980s to showcase their operational capabilities and progress as well as to boost the public’s confidence and support. This year, the Army Open House 2009 (AOH09), organised by Headquarters Singapore Combat Engineers is held at Pasir Laba Camp. Ping Yi NCC cadets attended the event on 4 September 2009. The event highlights our Third Generation Army as a Full Spectrum Force. By attending the event, we hope it instilled in our cadets, a sense of ownership and confidence in our Army’s capabilities as a Third Generation force – capable of defending the country and responding to all security threats in an evolving landscape.
