Ping Yi has a wide range of facilities. In 1999, the New Block was completed as part of the MOE's PRIME programme. The completion of the New Block enabled the school to go fully single session shortly after.

One of the most well known facility in Ping Yi is the Media Resource Library. Featured in the Straits Times a few times in the past, the Ping Yi Library won the Marion Bernice Award in 1996. The library has actively promoted reading among our schoolchildren by providing a conducive environment for studying and research. It has also striven to provide state of the art facilities for Ping Yi's pupils. The library was given a major facelift in 2000 at a cost of $230,000 - a result of the vision to transform the MRL into the IT and learning hub of the school, an inspiration drawn from the Library@School Conference in Sept 1999 in which the HOD MRL/IT shared her visions of F.L.A.S.H. or Future Library Aspiring Super Heights

Besides the library, Ping Yi has also been noted for its IT facilities. As the IT Cluster Centre for the former EastOne Cluster for 5 years from 1997-2002, it has been privileged to receive funding from the Cluster to purchase a good amount of IT equipment notably for video editing, CISCO Networking and other IT projects. I in November 2001, Ping Yi set up a LAN Gaming facility known as the NEXUS that offers entertainment for our pupils. The NEXUS is the first school facility to be run as a business by our students. The NEXUS is managed by the Ping Yi IT Co-operative. The NEXUS was officially opened by the Mayor of the SouthEast CDC, Mr Othman Haron Eusofe on Jan 11th 2002.

In 2004, the school moved to its temporary premises at Bedok South Road as the existing school at Chai Chee Street was being upgraded under the MOE's PRIME programme. In addition to the standard facilities provided by the MOE, the school raised additional funds on its own to add other facilities to enhance the facilities of the school. These include the extension to the school library, a brand new amphitheatre and a one-lane running track. In 2006, we moved back to the upgraded school at its original site at 61 Chai Chee Street together with the additional facilities from the fund raising in 2004 and 2005.
